英語のプレゼンで日々試行錯誤している我流探（がりゅうさぐる）です。

今回は、課題に対して対応してきた活動の結果や成果について説明する「活動報告」のための英語テンプレート (スライド) についてまとめます。

前回までの記事では、課題や説明 (#001)、対応策の説明 (#002)、進捗報告 (#003) の各テンプレートをまとめましたが、そうした対応が一巡して、関係者に最終成果報告をする、あるいは少し残件が残ってしまっているけどほぼ完了の状況を報告するためのプレゼン資料のテンプレートとして、今回の活動報告 (#004) をまとめてみます。

今回も、テンプレート #002の記事などと同様に、架空の会社 H&H ハムスター社の、架空の製品に関する以下のような問題点と、その問題に対処してきたことを想定してます。

まずプレゼン資料全体の構成とアジェンダ (agenda) ですが、以下のようにしました。

- 私たちは、2021年の年初時点で、サービスセンターから報告された以下の３つの問題を抱えていましたが、関連部署とともに対応してきました。
1. 自動給餌機と健康器具(ハムスター用回し車)間の無線接続の問題

3. 健康器具のプリンターの紙詰まり問題

- 本日は、この対策活動、およびその結果について、報告したいと思います。

１番目の課題：自動給餌機と健康器具の間の無線接続の問題

Issue:
- Wireless connection issue between Automatic Feeder and Exercise Wheel
- Network connection is sometimes unstable when using 5GHz Wi-Fi

Cause of the issue
- Software library used for Wi-Fi network function on Automatic Feeder side was not fully support 5GHz Wi-Fi and needed to be updated to the latest one

What we have done:
- R&D dept rebuilt new software with the software library, tested it with the equipment and confirmed the software can be released
- Support dept prepared to distribute the new software to customers via website

課題と対応 - #1 無線接続の問題

問題：
- 自動給餌機と健康器具の間の無線接続の問題
　- 5GHz帯 Wi-Fi を使用する際、ネットワーク接続がときどき不安定になる

問題の原因：
- 自動給餌機のWi-Fi ネットワーク機能に使われているソフトウエア・ライブラリが5GHz帯 Wi-Fi を完全にはサポートしておらず、最新のものにアップグレードする必要があった

実施したきたこと：
- 開発部が、新しいソフトウエア・ライブラリとともにソフトウエアを再作成し、機器を使ってテストを行い、そのソフトウエアをリリースできることを確認した
- サポート部は、その新しいソフトウエアをWebsite経由で顧客に配布するための準備をした

テンプレート #002の記事の中でも書きましたが、自分の場合、対策 (Action, Solution) について説明するとき、以下の動詞をよく使います。

Investigate 〜 more (〜について更に調査する)
Check 〜、Confirm 〜 (〜について確認する)
Define 〜 (対象範囲(scope)等を定義する)
Develop 〜 (〜を開発する)
Fix 〜 (ソフトウエアのバグや故障箇所を直す)
Rebuild 〜 (ソフトウエアを再作成する)
Introduce 〜 (〜を導入する)
Implement 〜 (プロセスなどを導入する)
Proceed with 名詞、Proceed to 動詞 (〜を推進する)
